MOSS ON LAWNS
Coverage 15 litres per 10 square metres |
Cut the lawn to expose the moss. Treat when dry, during a dry spell. Wet thoroughly either with a Compression Sprayer or watering can with a rose. Invisible spores can be picked up on peoples shoes and pushed into the ground, thereby causing the growth of new moss. Treatment can be applied at any time and several light applications every 6 weeks are better than than a single heavy drench. Results in 3 to 4 weeks. Once the moss has been eliminated, treat before the wet season to prevent invasion. Leave the moss to die down naturally. However, if you wish to use the moss for compost, scarify and comb out. Re-seed bare patches with grass to keep new spores away. Spray tree trunks and walls covered in moss to greatly reduce the spore production. |
Saturate the affected areas using a watering can fitted with a rose or Compression Sprayer. Apply during a dry spell and leave. |
