Treat greenhouses, polythene pots, seed trays, benches, capillary matting, garden ornaments, patios, paths, walls etc. Sterilise every nook and corner to eliminate all green areas of germinating algae spores caused by condensation and any over-wintering eggs. Throughly wet the areas with the dilution and leave to dry.
STERILISING .. WATER IN WATER BUTTS
To sterilise rainwater washed down from the roof into water butts, apply the dilution when the water-butt has refilled with fresh water. STERILISING .. SOILS / PEAT-BASED COMPOSTS
Sterilise unplanted soils and peat based composts by thoroughly wetting 3 days before sowing seeds and 7-10 days before planting seedlings. Hanging baskets, pots and containers will improve their water holding properties after treatment.
